• Cavity Preparation: Minimal preparation is required, preserve enamel even in undercut areas. If there is a risk of pulp exposure, apply a calcium hydroxide liner.
• Isolation and Drying: Isolate the tooth and thoroughly dry the cavity before application.
• Mixing: Combine 2 drops of liquid with 3 scoops of powder. Stir for 30 seconds to achieve a uniform mixture.
• Application: Fill the cavity with the mixed Pricare, ensuring the cavity is overfilled. Pack the material as needed and contour it before it begins to set to a rubbery stage.
• Contouring and Trimming: Trim excess material and cover the restoration with varnish immediately. Pricare sets rapidly, so further adjustments can be made after 4 minutes of mixing.
• Adjustment: Use a fine-grit stone to relieve the occlusal surface. Cover the adjusted restoration with varnish.
• Matrix Use: For Class III and Class II restorations, use a celluloid-type strip matrix for excellent adaptation and surface finish.
• Fissure Sealant: Pricare can also be used as a fissure sealant in cases where minimal fissure clearance has been performed.
• Semi-Permanent Restoration: If complete caries removal is not possible, Pricare serves as an effective semi-permanent restoration material.
