1. Mixing: Use 1 scoop of alginate with measured water. Mix vigorously for 30–45 seconds.
2. Loading: Load into impression tray immediately after mixing.
3. Seating: Insert the tray in the patient’s mouth and press gently until seated properly.
4. Setting: Allow to set for fast setting time (usually ~1.5–2 minutes).
5. Removal: Gently remove the tray with a snapping motion once set.
6. Casting: Pour gypsum into the impression as soon as possible for optimal detail reproduction.
