Preparation:

• Ensure the scaler tip is securely attached to the ultrasonic scaler and compatible with UDS or EMS systems

Patient Positioning:

Movement:

• Glide the tip along the surfaces, including interproximal and sulcus areas, using a sweeping motion to effectively remove calculus and plaque
