Woodpecker Endodontic Scaler Tips are precision-engineered attachments specifically designed for compatibility with UDS and EMS ultrasonic scalers. Crafted from high-quality stainless steel, these tips are durable and wear-resistant, making them ideal for effective root canal treatments and endodontic procedures.

E1: 120° holder for ultrasonic files 0.7mm or 0.8mm files; best for cleaning and irrigating root canals, particularly in anterior teeth.
E2: 90° holder for ultrasonic files 0.7mm or 0.8mm files; recommended for root canal cleaning and irrigation in molar teeth.
E3: Used for melting gutta-percha in root canals; immerse in eugenol before use, press gently, and activate to condense the gutta-percha.
E3D: Diamond-coated (40μm) for enlarging root canals and accessing broken files; avoid touching the broken file to prevent pushing it deeper.
E4: Designed to remove root filling obstructions during root canal retreatment; slender part is 22mm.
E4D: Diamond-coated (40μm) for removing calcifications and bad filling material in root canals during retreatment; diamond coating is 15mm long.
E6: Thin and flexible, suitable for removing foreign bodies in deep canals.
E7: Thin and flexible, used for removing foreign bodies in the upper third of the canal.

Direction to use

Preparation: Before starting the procedure, ensure that the scaler tip is properly attached to the ultrasonic scaler handpiece according to the manufacturer's instructions. Check for any visible damage or wear on the tip.
Patient Comfort: Prioritize patient comfort by explaining the procedure, addressing any concerns, and providing appropriate anesthesia if necessary.
Technique: Hold the ultrasonic scaler handpiece in a comfortable and stable grip, maintaining good control throughout the procedure.
Approach: Approach the treatment area from an optimal angle, considering the specific tip being used and the area being treated (e.g., supragingival, interproximal, subgingival).
Activation: Activate the ultrasonic scaler, and ensure that the scaler tip is oscillating properly. Start with a lower power setting and gradually increase as needed, while monitoring patient comfort and avoiding excessive pressure.
Movement: Use controlled and gentle back-and-forth or sweeping motions along the treatment surface, following the contour of the teeth or specific area being treated. Avoid applying excessive force to prevent discomfort or potential tissue damage.
Adaptation: Properly adapt the working section of the scaler tip to the targeted deposits or treatment area. For supragingival scaling, place the tip at an appropriate angle to effectively remove calculus and plaque.
Irrigation: Utilize adequate water irrigation or a dental irrigant during the procedure to minimize heat buildup, flush away debris, and maintain a clear field of vision.
Monitoring: Continuously monitor the patient's comfort and any signs of tissue irritation or sensitivity during the procedure. Make necessary adjustments or pauses if discomfort occurs.

How to Connect Files to E1 and E2 Tips:

Select the Appropriate File: Ensure you have U-type files with a diameter of 0.8 mm, which are compatible with the E1 and E2 tips.
Prepare the Ultrasonic Scaler: Turn off the ultrasonic scaler before making any attachments to avoid accidental activation.
Attach the File: Insert the U-type file into the designated holder or slot within the E1 or E2 tip. Ensure that it fits securely and is properly aligned. For the E1 tip, ensure it is positioned at a 120° angle for optimal cleaning of anterior root canals. For the E2 tip, position it at a 95° angle for effective cleaning and shaping of root canals.
Secure the Connection: Ensure that the file is firmly attached to the tip to prevent any movement during use. Check that there are no gaps between the file and the tip.
Connect the Tip to the Ultrasonic Scaler: Attach the E1 or E2 tip to the ultrasonic scaler handpiece, ensuring it clicks into place securely.
Set Up the Ultrasonic Scaler: Adjust the power settings on the ultrasonic scaler according to the manufacturer's recommendations for the specific tip being used.
Activate the Scaler: Once everything is securely connected, turn on the ultrasonic scaler and begin the procedure
