  • In patients allergic to metals.
  • In children.

Direction to use

Preparation:

  • Ensure that the device is fully charged or connected to a power source.
  • Make sure the file clip, lip hook, and file probe are properly attached and autoclaved for sterilization.
  • Check that the LCD screen is clean and in good condition for clear visibility.

Patient Preparation:

  • Inform the patient about the procedure and obtain their consent.
  • Ensure that the patient does not have a pacemaker, other implanted electrical devices, allergies to metals, or any contraindications mentioned in the user manual.
  • Provide appropriate anesthesia to the patient before starting the endodontic procedure.

Device Setup:

  • Turn on the Woodpecker DTE DPEX V Apex Locator by pressing the power button.

Apical Positioning:

  • Select the appropriate file size for the root canal treatment.
