Direction to use

Installation:

  • Place the device in a dry, heated room with at least 25cm of space from the closest wall.
  • Allow the device to stand at room temperature for approximately 30 minutes if it's below 15°C.
  • Ensure it's on a heat-resistant surface, away from direct sunlight, flammable objects, and in a way that allows easy access to the main switch and power supply cable.

Start-Up:

  • Before starting, ensure the firing socket is attached.
  • Connect the vacuum pump using the electrical and tube connections.
  • Connect the device to the mains power supply using the provided cable.
  • Switch on the device using the main switch. The lift moves to the lower position.
  • Clean the lift plate and lift plate gasket if needed.

Selecting a Program:

  • The furnace comes pre-programmed with firing settings for VITA ceramic materials.
  • Select a program by entering the program number or pressing the program name or material button.

Firing Process:

  • Once the program is selected, the furnace will automatically execute the firing process.

Switching to Standby:

  • Press the standby button. The lift will retract into the firing chamber, and the chamber will heat to the standby temperature.
  • It will be ready for firing once the standby temperature is maintained for five minutes.

Switching Off:

  • When not in use, retract the lift into the firing chamber and switch off the device using the main switch.
  • This protects the insulation and prevents moisture absorption.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • Always unplug the device before cleaning.
  • Regularly clean the casing with a damp cloth. Do not use detergents or flammable liquids.
  • The inside of the firing chamber does not need cleaning.
  • Perform a cleaning firing every 100 operating hours to remove any contamination from the chamber.

Safety Precautions:

  • Never start the device without the firing socket attached.
