Vishal Dentocare V-Bioseal RCS Bioceramic Root Canal Sealer

V Bioseal RCS is a premixed ready-to-use injectable bioceramic paste developed for permanent root canal filling and sealing applications. V Bioseal RCS is an insoluble, radiopaque, and aluminum-free material based on a calcium silicate composition, which requires the presence of water to set and harden. V Bioseal RCS does not shrink during setting and demonstrates excellent physical properties. V Bioseal RCS is packaged in a pre-loaded syringe and is supplied with disposable BC Tips. BC Sealer may be delivered into the canal via the tips provided or it can be delivered via traditional methods.

Indications:

  • Permanent obturation of the root canal following vital pulp-extirpation.
  • Permanent obturation of the root canal following removal of infected or necrotic pulp and placement of intracanal dressings.

Contraindications:

  • Do not use V Bioseal RCS in patients with a known allergy to any of the product's ingredients. An allergic reaction may require re-treatment.

Features

  • Bioceramic Technology: The V-Bioseal RCS sealer is based on bioceramic technology, which offers advanced sealing and biocompatibility properties.
  • Tissue Regeneration: The biologically active nature of bioceramic materials can promote tissue healing and regeneration around the root canal area.
  • Excellent Sealing: The sealer provides a hermetic seal, preventing the entry of bacteria and fluid leakage within the root canal system.
  • Adhesion: V-Bioseal RCS exhibits strong adhesion to dentin, ensuring a reliable bond to the root canal walls.
  • Easy Handling: The sealer is user-friendly and easy to handle during root canal procedures.
  • Radiopacity: The material is radiopaque, allowing for clear visibility on X-rays to ensure accurate diagnosis and assessment.
  • Long-Term Stability: V-Bioseal RCS is designed for long-term stability, providing reliable results over time.
  • Biocompatibility: The sealer is biocompatible, minimizing the risk of adverse reactions in patients.

Product Related Questions

Question: Can it be removed easily when doing re RCT?
Answer:
The Vishal Dentocare V-Bioseal RCS Bioceramic Root Canal Sealer is a premixed injectable bioceramic paste designed for permanent root canal filling and sealing applications. While bioceramic sealers are known for their biocompatibility and sealing abilities, they can be challenging to remove during retreatment due to their excellent adhesion and insolubility. Therefore, removing the V-Bioseal RCS during a re RCT (root canal treatment) may require specialized techniques and tools like ultrasonics, retreatment rotary files or Photon-initiated photoacoustic streaming (PIPS) to ensure thorough cleaning and disinfection of the root canal system.

Question: What is the prognosis when the material goes beyond apex?
Answer:
V-Bioseal RCS is a bioceramic calcium silicate-based sealer that exhibits non-resorbable characteristics after setting, making it less likely to cause problems due to its biocompatible nature. The calcium silicate material provides a long-term alkaline environment and bone regeneration properties. However, excessive sealer extrusion near the inferior alveolar nerve canal should still be avoided to prevent complications.

Question: Can it be used alone as Obturation material without gutta percha?
Answer:
Yes, V-Bioseal RCS Bioceramic Root Canal Sealer can be used alone for obturation. However, it's advisable to combine it with gutta percha points for optimal results and easier retrieval during potential retreatment.

Question: What will happen when it go beyond the apex?
Answer:
When V-Bioseal RCS Bioceramic Root Canal Sealer goes beyond the apex, it may extrude into the periapical tissues. Bioceramic sealers are known for their biocompatibility, but extrusion beyond the apex may lead to inflammatory reactions in the surrounding tissues. It is crucial to avoid overfilling to prevent potential complications such as postoperative discomfort, swelling, or damage to adjacent structures. Precise application, following recommended techniques, and careful monitoring during the root canal procedure are essential to minimize the risk of sealer extrusion.

Question Can V-Bioseal RCS be used for temporary root canal filling?
Answer:
No, V-Bioseal RCS is designed for permanent root canal filling and sealing.

Question: Does V-Bioseal RCS shrink during setting?
Answer:
No, V-Bioseal RCS does not shrink during setting and demonstrates excellent physical properties.

Question: Is V-Bioseal RCS radiopaque?
Answer:
Yes, V-Bioseal RCS is radiopaque, making it visible on X-rays for proper assessment.

Question: How is V-Bioseal RCS dispensed into the root canal?
Answer:
V-Bioseal RCS can be delivered into the canal either via the disposable BC Tips provided or through traditional delivery methods.

Question: What is the shelf life of V-Bioseal RCS?
Answer:
The shelf life of V-Bioseal RCS is 3 years from the date of manufacturing.

Question: How should V-Bioseal RCS be stored?
Answer:
Store V-Bioseal RCS at a temperature between 10°C to 24°C. Close the cap carefully after use, keep it away from moisture, and shelf life is not affected after opening if stored in a cool, dry place.

Question: What is the composition of V-Bioseal RCS?
Answer:
V-Bioseal RCS is primarily composed of Tricalcium Silicate, Dicalcium Silicate, Zirconium Oxide, Tri calcium Phosphate, and a Dispensing Agent.

Question: What are the contraindications for using V-Bioseal RCS?
Answer:
V-Bioseal RCS should not be used in patients with known allergies to any of the product's ingredients. Allergic reactions may require re-treatment.

Question: What is V-Bioseal RCS, and what is it used for?
Answer:
V-Bioseal RCS is a premixed, injectable bioceramic paste designed for permanent root canal filling and sealing. It is used for permanent obturation of the root canal following vital pulp extirpation and removal of infected or necrotic pulp.
