Answer: Each packet of U Ortho Separators contains 700 separators, ensuring an ample supply for orthodontic procedures.

Question : What does separators do in braces?Answer: Orthodontic separators are elastic (usually blue or gray) separators or spacers that are placed in between the posterior teeth so that an orthodontic band can more easily be placed on a tooth or teeth the following week.

Question : Are separators necessary for braces?

Answer: Teeth separators are only necessary if patient is going to wear some type of fixed appliance in addition to braces, but only if there's not enough space in the contact area (between teeth) for the band that holds it in place. If there's plenty of space between teeth, separators aren't required.
