Tor Vm Saddle Metal Matrices are thin, flexible strips of metal that are used in dental restorations to create a temporary wall around a tooth to hold the restorative material in place while it sets. They are used to shape the material and create a natural-looking contour for the tooth. The edges of saddle matrices are performed as cylinder-shape tubes where tines of spring clip or clamp are inserted upon matrix installation.

Product Related Questions

Question: How do I choose the right size of saddle metal matrix?
Answer:
The size of saddle metal matrix you choose should be based on the interdental space between the teeth being restored. Saddle metal matrices come in different widths and heights to accommodate different interdental spaces.

Question: What is the difference between saddle metal matrices and contoured metal matrices?
Answer:
Saddle metal matrices are typically thinner and more flexible than contoured metal matrices, and they are designed to be used primarily for creating tooth separation. Contoured metal matrices, on the other hand, are thicker and more rigid, and they are used for creating the proper shape and contour of the tooth during a restorative procedure.
