Tor Vm Fixing Kit Delta No. 1.870 consists of two types wedges, made of high grade silicone material, which is soft, safe and non-toxic. Delta ring No. 1.299 with double tines is the most suitable for installation of add-on wedges. Tines of delta rings are inserted into the holes of the add-on wedges. Add-on wedges, provides complete gingival edge adaptation and sealing.

Delta ring with Double tines are suitable for installation of add-on fixing wedges.

Add-on fixing wedges No. 1.861 and 1.866 provide perfect matrix tooth contact along the tooth height. When restoring large cavities add-on wedges No. 1.866 are preferable.

Direction to use

  • Prepare the Workspace: Ensure the dental workspace is clean and sterile, adhering to standard infection control protocols.

  • Insert Delta Ring: Insert the Delta ring with double tines into the desired position around the tooth to be restored. The double tines should be properly aligned with the tooth's contours.
  • Install Add-On Wedge: Insert the selected add-on wedge into the holes of the Delta ring. Ensure proper insertion and alignment for effective gingival edge adaptation and sealing. For large cavities, prefer the 1.866 add-on wedges.
  • Secure Wedge with Springclip: If necessary, use the included spring clips to secure the silicone wedges firmly in place within the Delta ring. This ensures stability during the restoration process.
  • Perform Dental Restoration: Proceed with the dental restoration procedure as per standard clinical practices, utilizing the wedges and rings to create an appropriate matrix for the restoration material.
  • Remove and Clean: After the restoration procedure is complete, carefully remove the Delta ring and silicone wedges from the tooth. Clean the wedges and rings thoroughly using an appropriate cleaning solution and sterilize them using autoclaving methods, ensuring they are ready for future use.
  • Dispose of Used Materials: Discard any disposable components according to local biomedical waste disposal regulations.
  • Review and Store: Inspect the wedges, rings, and other components for any signs of damage or wear. Store the kit in a clean, dry environment, ready for the next use.
