Direction to use

Select Band Size: Choose the appropriately sized saddle matrix band based on the tooth type (premolar/molar) and cavity depth.
Seat the Matrix: Place the saddle matrix band over the prepared tooth. The cylinder-shaped edges will seat snugly into the gingival embrasure, adapting to the cervical margin.
Secure with Retainer: Insert the matrix band tails into a standard Tofflemire retainer or universal retainer. Tighten to apply adequate tension around the tooth.
Place Wedge: Insert an appropriately sized interdental wedge from the buccal or lingual to stabilize the matrix and ensure tight contact with the adjacent tooth.
Pack Composite: Incrementally place and light-cure composite resin. The secure matrix ensures an excellent proximal contact and minimal flash.
Remove and Finish: After curing, loosen the retainer, remove the matrix band gently, and check/adjust the occlusion and proximal contact.
