Types

Super Endo Blue Rotary Files (Pack of 6) are advanced thermally treated instruments designed for enhanced performance in endodontic therapy. These rotary files boast increased resistance to cyclic fatigue and exceptional flexibility, allowing them to closely follow the intricate anatomy of root canals.

Unlike conventional nickel-titanium (NiTi) files, Blue Files do not possess shape memory, which minimizes the risk of lodging, transportation, or perforation during use. They can be pre-bent similarly to stainless steel files, and this adaptation can be easily reversed through heat treatment, returning them to their original shape.

The superelasticity and controlled memory of the files provide superior flexibility compared to stainless steel, making them ideal for biomechanical preparation of root canals. With their clear visual indicators for safe usage, Super Endo Blue Rotary Files are a reliable choice for dental professionals seeking efficiency and precision in endodontic procedures.

Features

  • The controlled memory of these files allows them to adapt to the canal's anatomy, ensuring a precise fit and minimizing the risk of transportation or perforation during the preparation process.
  • Made from nickel-titanium (NiTi) that is heat activated, these files exhibit superior flexibility compared to traditional stainless steel instruments.
  • The design of the files facilitates easier removal of debris while preserving the integrity of the dentin. This is crucial in maintaining the structural health of the tooth while effectively cleaning the canal.
  • With a triangular cross-section, these files provide better cutting efficiency.
  • The durability of the Super Endo Blue Rotary Files ensures that they can withstand the rigors of multiple uses without compromising performance.

Direction to use

  • Initial Preparation: Begin with a #15 size hand file with a 2% taper, and utilize the orifice opener rotary file (B Safe) to access the canal.
  • Establish Glide Path: Use the 19/2% file (B Path) to create a glide path, ensuring smooth navigation through the canal.
  • Canal Sizing: For narrow canals, select either the 20/4% or 20/6% file.
  • Determine Working Length: Establish the working length using an Electronic Apex Locator (EAL) or radiograph for accuracy.
  • Dealing with Challenging Canals: For obliterated, calcified, or severely curved canals, start with #8 or #10 K-Files, or continue with the SuperEndo B Path until the apex is reached to achieve a proper glide path.
  • File Usage Technique: Use the Super Endo Blue Files in a brushing motion. Passively advance the file to the point of least resistance, then brush it out of the canal. Repeat this process until the working length is achieved.
  • Maintenance During Use: Clean the cutting flutes of the file after every few strokes to maintain cutting efficiency. Irrigate the canal and recapitulate with the K-File to ensure proper debris removal.
  • Gentle Touch: Always use the SuperEndo Blue Files with a gentle touch. Avoid forcing the file into the canal, and adhere to the recommended speed and torque settings to prevent damage to the instrument or canal.

Important Notes:

  • Regularly check and follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for specific usage protocols and settings.
  • Monitor the condition of the files throughout the procedure, discarding any that show signs of wear or damage.

Product Related Questions

Question: How often should SuperEndo Blue Files 25mm (Pack of 6) be replaced?
Answer:
SuperEndo Blue Files can typically be used for 4-5 cases. However, it’s essential to check for signs of distortion or wear before each use. The exact number of canals may vary based on the complexity of each case, so relying on clinical judgment is crucial for ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Question: Are Super Endo Blue Files suitable for all types of canals?
Answer:
Yes, these files are designed for use in a variety of canal shapes and sizes, including narrow, medium, and wide canals, as well as obliterated or severely curved canals.

Question: How should I maintain the files during use?
Answer:
Clean the cutting flutes after every few strokes to maintain their efficiency. Additionally, irrigate the canal frequently and recapitulate with K-Files to remove debris.

Question: Can Super Endo Blue Rotary Files be pre-bent, similar to stainless steel files?
Answer:
Yes, these files can be pre-bent similar to stainless steel instruments. However, this adaptation can be easily reversed by heat treatment during autoclaving or with a glass bead sterilizer, restoring the files to their original shape.

Question: How do Blue Files differ from conventional NiTi files in terms of flexibility?
Answer:
Blue Files are extremely flexible without the shape memory of conventional NiTi files. This flexibility allows them to closely follow the canal's anatomy, reducing the risk of complications like lodging, transportation, or perforation.
