SuperEndo Articulating Paper
SuperEndo Articulating Paper- Soft, smooth, non-sticking, sensitive surface for marking at every point of articulation.
Articulating paper is a diagnostic tool used in dentistry to highlight occlusal contacts and the distribution of occlusal forces. That is, it marks those points on the teeth where the teeth contact during biting and grinding. Articulating paper is made of a thin, non-adhesive paper strip covered in fluorescent ink or dye-containing wax. A strip of articulating paper is placed between the teeth while the desired mandibular movements are performed.

Question: Why red and blue used in different arches? Why not single colour? And what the use of different micron papers ?
Answer: Red articulating paper is used to record centric contact points, while blue is for eccentric occlusal contact points. Different micron papers serve varying purposes. Thicker papers (e.g., 100-μm) provide a broader occlusal contact area, whereas thinner ones (e.g., 30-μm) help avoid unnecessary grinding during occlusal adjustment, optimizing prosthesis fit and patient comfort in fixed prosthodontic treatment.
Question: What is the difference between red and blue articulating paper?
Answer: Blue appears to be the most common colour used. Red is useful on highly polished surfaces gold or composite resin. Papers are available with different coloured surfaces so that one arch is marked in red and the opposing arch is marked in blue.
