Directions for Use of Rubident RubyFlow Flowable Composite Kit:
Preparation:
Prepare the cavity according to standard guidelines for composite restorations.
Ensure the cavity is clean and completely dry before proceeding.
Application of RubyBond 5th Generation Universal Adhesive:
If necessary, apply calcium hydroxide paste or underfill (lining) cement in deep cavities.
Etch the enamel using Ruby Etch, rinse thoroughly, and dry the area.
Do not etch glass-ionomer cement fillings, only roughen if needed.
Apply 1-2 drops of light-curing RubyBond onto a mixing pad and apply a thin layer to the tooth using an applicator.
Cure the adhesive with a light source for 15 seconds .
Application of RubyEtch Denbal Etching Gel:
Attach the application needle to the RubyEtch syringe.
Squeeze out a small drop on a pad to ensure proper handling and avoid air entrapment.
Apply RubyEtch gel to the enamel/dentine to be restored, ensuring a uniform coverage.
Leave the etching gel in place for 15 seconds on dentine and 20-30 seconds on enamel.
Rinse thoroughly with water for 20 seconds and dry the area with clean airApplication of RubyFlow Composite Flowable Polymer:
Select the desired shade using a shade guide in daylight conditions.
Clean the teeth and ensure they are moist for shade selection.
Apply RubyFlow composite in increments of no more than 2mm into the prepared cavity using a non-metallic instrument.
Use transparent matrix strips if necessary for shaping and contouring.
Light cure each layer of RubyFlow composite with a halogen or LED light source.
Finishing and Polishing:
Contour the composite restoration using fine diamonds, stones, or burs.
Polish the restoration to a high gloss using discs or rubber points.
Use fine grit finishing strips for inter-proximal finishing to achieve smooth margins and optimal aesthetics.
Storage and Precautions:
Store all components of the Rubident RubyFlow Flowable Composite Kit at temperatures up to 23°C ±2, avoiding freezing and direct light exposure.
Replace caps on syringes immediately after use to prevent contamination.
Follow all safety precautions including wearing protective gloves and eyewear during application.
In case of skin or eye contact, rinse immediately with soap and water. Seek medical attention for allergic reactions or ingestion.
