Description

Specification

  • Contains: 4% Hydrofluoric Acid

Storage:

  • Store at room temperature (15-25ºC).

Packaging

  • 1 x Porc-Etch 7gm
  • 1 x Barrier Gel 3ml

Direction to use

  • Preparation: Place a rubber dam to protect the gingiva and soft tissues from contact with Porc-Etch™, which contains 4% hydrofluoric acid.
  • Surface Preparation: Prophy and sandblast the surface intended for bonding. Thoroughly rinse and dry the area.
  • Isolation and Barrier Gel Application: Isolate the surrounding area and apply Reliance Barrier Gel to protect the gingiva. Then, apply a thin coat of Porc-Etch™ to the porcelain crown surface.
  • Etching Process: Allow Porc-Etch™ to sit on the surface for 4 minutes. Afterward, wipe it off with a cotton roll or gauze pad. Rinse the area thoroughly with water, using high-speed suction.
  • Porcelain Conditioning: Dry the surface thoroughly and apply one thin coat of Reliance Porcelain Conditioner. Wait for 2 minutes and ensure thorough air drying.
  • Application of Adhesive: Apply one coat of Assure® Plus to the conditioned porcelain surface. Lightly air dry and then light cure.
  • Placement of Adhesive and Bracket: Proceed with placing the adhesive and bracket according to standard orthodontic procedures.
