The Pyrax Preliminary Dental Impression Compound is a high-quality thermoplastic dental material formulated for preliminary impressions in prosthodontic and restorative dentistry. It serves as a reliable medium for capturing accurate and detailed impressions of dental structures during the initial stages of dental procedures.
Featuring thermoplastic properties, the compound easily softens in warm water and can be molded to the patient's anatomical oral structures. Once set inside the mouth, it maintains stability at oral temperature, ensuring that the preliminary impression remains intact and precise. This compound is also widely used for correcting prepared models and raising the edges of primary impressions, offering excellent compatibility with hydrocolloid or silicone materials.
