Direction to use

Preparation:

  • Remove the Luer cap from the 3ml syringe containing Prime Dental Retra Gel.
  • Attach the working tip securely to the syringe.

Verification:

  • Before applying intraorally, verify the flow of the gel to ensure smooth application.

Application:

  • Using a palm grasp, slowly express the Retra Gel onto the bleeding tissue area.
  • Rub the gel around the entire circumference of the preparation to effectively control bleeding.
  • The recommended contact time for Retra Gel is 1-3 minutes.

Hemostasis:

  • After application, use a firm air/water spray to clean the preparation.
  • Check for hemostasis. If bleeding persists, repeat the application process until bleeding stops.

Sulcus Packing:

  • Pack Prime-Cord into the sulcus to optimize displacement and hemostasis.
  • For enhanced effectiveness, soak the cord in Retra Gel from a dappen dish prior to packing.

Waiting Period:

  • Wait for 1-3 minutes before removing the cord.

Cord Removal:

  • After the waiting period, carefully remove the cord from the sulcus.

Rinsing and Impression Making:

  • Rinse the area with a firm air/water spray to ensure hemostasis.
