Direction to use

Case Assessment

Evaluate the tooth for full-coverage restoration due to caries, trauma, developmental defects, or post-pulp therapy.
Select the appropriate crown size from B1–B6 for either left or right upper lateral incisor.

Tooth Preparation

Incisal Reduction: Reduce the incisal edge by 1–1.5 mm for proper crown seating.
Labial and Lingual Reduction: Prepare the tooth with uniform clearance while preserving tooth anatomy.
Proximal Clearance: Break mesial and distal contacts for proper crown adaptation.
Finishing: Round all sharp angles to prevent crown stress or fracture.

Crown Selection and Trial Fit

Select the correct crown size and try it on the prepared tooth.
Ensure passive fit with no rocking or excessive force.
Verify crown margins and alignment with adjacent teeth.

Optional Vent Hole Creation

Drill a small retention hole in the crown if needed to prevent aspiration or swallowing during trial fitting.

Cementation

Clean and dry both the tooth and the crown interior.
Fill the crown with resin-modified glass ionomer cement (RMGIC).
Seat the crown using firm finger pressure or gentle biting pressure for proper adaptation.
Hold in place until the cement sets completely.
