- Preparation: Before use, ensure that the NeoEndo Neopure C-Silicone Impression Material Kit components (base and catalyst) are at room temperature. Prepare your workspace and have all necessary items (mixing tools, impression tray, etc.) ready.
- Mixing the Material:
- Squeeze equal amounts of the base and catalyst pastes onto a clean pad.
- Mix the materials thoroughly using a spatula until the mixture is homogeneous and free of streaks. Ensure the consistency is smooth and uniform.
- Loading the Tray: - Once the material is well-mixed, load the impression tray with the mixed impression material. The material should be evenly spread to avoid air bubbles.
- Taking the Impression:
- Position the loaded impression tray in the patient's mouth, ensuring it covers the entire area of interest (e.g., root canal or endodontic space).
- Gently seat the tray and hold it in place, allowing the material to set. Follow the recommended working and setting times, typically 3-4 minutes, depending on the specific product instructions.
- Removal of Impression: -Once the material has set, gently remove the tray from the patient's mouth. Ensure that the impression is free from any distortions or tears.
- Aftercare:
- Immediately clean any remaining impression material from the tray and surrounding areas.
- If needed, disinfect the impression for transport or storage, following the manufacturer's guidelines.
- Storage and Disposal: - Store any leftover material in a cool, dry place, and discard any unused mixed material as per the manufacturer’s disposal instructions.
