Adseal is a epoxy resin based root canal sealer which is a paste-paste type of dual syringe.
It had a outstanding chemical and physical property including extremely excellent sealing property and biocompatobility. It has been formulated to deliver excellent adhesion, high compressive strength, and low solubility, which helps to prevent any leakage or dislodgement of the filling material. Furthermore, ADSEAL has excellent flow properties, making it easy to manipulate and apply.
INDICATIONS:
Permanent obturation of root canals in combination with obturation points
CONTRAINDICATION:
Known hypersensitivity against epoxy resins or other components, respectively, of the root canal filling materialA

Direction to use
Direction to use
- Mixing: First, mix the Base and Catalyst on a mixing pad using a spatula for 15-20 seconds until a creamy and homogeneous consistency is achieved. The ratio of the Base and Catalyst is 2:1 by weight.
- Application: Ensure that the canal walls are dry before applying ADSEAL. Use either a lentulo spiral or obturation points (such as gutta-percha, silver, or titanium root canal points) to carry ADSEAL to the canal.
- Avoiding air bubbles: To avoid the formation of air bubbles in the material and overfilling of the canal, advance the lentulo spiral slowly to the apex running at a very low speed. Withdraw the lentulo very slowly still running at low speed.
- Filling the canal: Dip the disinfected and dry master point into ADSEAL and with pumping motions slowly push it into the canals.
- Suitable for all techniques: ADSEAL can be used for all established and more recent root canal sealing techniques, including the single-point method, thermoplasticize method, and all condensation techniques.

Question: What if the sealer gone beyond apex
Answer: If the Meta Adseal (Resin-Based Sealer) goes beyond the apex during a dental procedure, it can potentially lead to complications. Sealer extrusion beyond the apex may cause inflammation in the periapical tissues and can result in postoperative discomfort for the patient. It's crucial to carefully control the placement of the sealer and ensure that it does not extend beyond the root apex during endodontic procedures. If such an occurrence happens, it's recommended to address it promptly through proper irrigation and cleaning to minimize potential adverse effects.
Question: Is ADSEAL radiopaque?
Answer: Yes, ADSEAL is radiopaque, which means it can be easily seen on X-rays and helps to accurately assess the success of root canal treatment.
Question: How should ADSEAL be stored?
Answer: ADSEAL should be stored in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. It should also be stored at a temperature between 5-25°C.
Question: Is ADSEAL easy to remove during retreatment?
Answer: Yes, ADSEAL can be easily removed during retreatment by using appropriate instruments and solvents.
Question: What is the shelf life of ADSEAL?
Answer: The shelf life of ADSEAL is two years from the date of manufacture.
