Opening the Package: Open the sterile suture package carefully to maintain sterility. Use sterile gloves and instruments to handle the suture and needle.
Needle Handling: Secure the needle with a needle holder, ensuring a firm grip. Position the needle at the desired entry point on the tissue.
Needle Insertion: Insert the needle into the tissue at a 90-degree angle, approximately 2-3 mm from the wound edge. Use a smooth, controlled motion to pass the needle through the tissue to minimize trauma.
Suturing Technique: Employ the chosen suturing technique (e.g., interrupted, continuous, or mattress sutures). Ensure even spacing between sutures for optimal wound closure.
