- Prepare the Wax: Place the wax sheets in a water bath at 55°C for 4-5 minutes to soften them. Ensure the sheets are wrapped in non-adhesive silicone paper to facilitate easy removal.
- Load the Wax: Once softened, load the wax into the bite registration tray. Ensure the tray is properly adapted to the patient's arch.
- Record the Bite: Place the loaded tray in the patient's mouth and instruct them to bite down gently. This will record the patient's bite position.
- Remove the Tray: Carefully remove the tray from the patient's mouth. The wax will be set firmly at room temperature (around 27°C), maintaining the accurate bite registration.
- Check and Adjust: Use the wax to check and adjust the occlusal records. The extra-hard composition ensures the wax does not distort or shrink, maintaining the accuracy of the bite registration.
- Clean and Store: Clean the wax and store it properly between 10°C to 40°C to maintain its shelf life of up to 60 months.
