• Evaluate the patient's dental condition to determine if the JJ Ortho Maxillary Quad Helix is suitable for treating maxillary constriction or crossbite.

Impression and Model:

• Take dental impressions and create a model of the patient’s upper arch to customize the quad helix appliance.

Fabrication:

• Fabricate the quad helix appliance based on the dental model, ensuring the anterior and posterior loops are properly positioned for optimal functionality.

Preparation:

• Clean the patient's teeth thoroughly, focusing on the molars where the appliance will be attached.
• Isolate the teeth using a dental dam or cotton rolls to keep the area dry.

Bonding the Bands:

• Select appropriately sized bands and fit them onto the upper molars.
• Apply dental cement to the inner surfaces of the bands and carefully place them onto the molars, ensuring a secure fit.
• Allow the cement to set according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Attachment of the Quad Helix:

• Insert the quad helix appliance into the lingual sheaths of the molar bands.
• Adjust the anterior and posterior loops to ensure they are positioned correctly and provide the desired expansion force.

Activation:
