Prepare the Tooth Surface:

• Clean the tooth surface thoroughly to remove any plaque and debris.
• Use a pumice paste and a rubber cup or brush to polish the tooth.
• Rinse the tooth with water and dry it completely with an air syringe.

Isolate the Tooth:

• Use cotton rolls, a saliva ejector, or cheek retractors to ensure the tooth remains dry during the bonding process.

Apply Etching Agent:

• Apply the etching agent to the area where the tube will be bonded.
• Allow the etchant to sit for the recommended time (usually 30 seconds).
• Rinse the etchant off thoroughly with water and dry the tooth again.

Apply Bonding Agent:

• Apply a thin layer of bonding agent to the etched area.
• Use an air syringe to thin out the bonding agent and ensure it covers the surface evenly.
• Light-cure the bonding agent according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Prepare the Tube:

• Select the appropriate size of the bondable tube.
• Apply a small amount of orthodontic adhesive to the base of the tube.

Place the Tube:

• Position the tube on the prepared tooth surface, ensuring correct alignment with the archwire slot facing the correct direction.
• Press the tube firmly against the tooth to expel any excess adhesive.

Remove Excess Adhesive:

• Use a dental scaler or a micro-brush to remove any excess adhesive around the tube.

Light Cure the Adhesive:

• Light-cure the adhesive around the tube for the recommended time, usually around 20-30 seconds per side, to ensure a strong bond.

Check Placement:

• Verify that the tube is securely bonded and in the correct position.
• Ensure there is no adhesive obstructing the tube's slot.

Final Adjustments:

• Make any necessary adjustments to the tube's position before the adhesive sets completely.
• Ensure the patient is comfortable and that the tube does not cause irritation.
