These sutures offer excellent tensile strength and minimal tissue reactivity, making them suitable for general, dental, ophthalmic, orthopaedic, and skin closure procedures. Truglyde sutures provide consistent wound support for up to 28 days and are fully absorbed by hydrolysis within 90 days, ensuring effective healing without the need for suture removal. Available in dyed (violet) and undyed variants, they cover various U.S.P. sizes (9-0 to 2) and are offered in various lengths and needle configurations. Sterilised using ethylene oxide and with a shelf life of five years, Truglyde sutures ensure safety, performance, and reliability in demanding surgical environments.
