Preparation:

Anesthesia:

Incision and Access:

Bone Removal:

• Position the GI Bone Rongeur at the targeted area of bone.
• Open the rongeur by squeezing the handles together, allowing the sharp-edged scoop-shaped tip to access the bone.

Trimming and Contouring:

• Squeeze the handles to close the rongeur, allowing the sharpened jaws to remove bony fragments.
• Repeat the process as needed, working methodically to achieve the desired contour and shape of the bone.

Final Assessment:

• After achieving the desired bone removal, assess the area for any remaining fragments or irregularities.
• Use the rongeur to make final adjustments if necessary.

Closure:
