Direction to use
Direction to use
- Begin by properly preparing the tooth cavity for the filling material.
- For small pits and fissures, tunnel preparations and minor tooth defects, this instrument is used.
- Load the chosen composite into the tooth cavity.
- Gently press it against the filling material in the cavity. Apply firm yet controlled pressure to compact and condense the material.
- Once the filling material is condensed, carefully inspect the restoration for any excess material that needs to be removed.
- After condensing, proceed with the finishing and polishing.
- Immediately after usage, the ends of composite instruments should be gently cleaned with a swab or piece of cotton soaked in alcohol. This prolongs the instrument's life and reduces the amount of thin composite layers that accumulate after use. The instrument is then sterilised as advised.
