Dental Impression tray Dentulous Non-Perforated is used to take a negative imprint of hard (teeth) and soft tissues in the mouth from which a positive reproduction (cast or model) can be formed. Impression material is of liquid or semi-solid nature when first mixed and placed in the mouth. It then sets to become an elastic solid (usually takes a few minutes depending upon the material), leaving an imprint of a person's dentition and surrounding structures of the oral cavity.

Direction to use

Confirm that the tray is cleaned before use.
Soak the tray in hot water (within the range of 70-80oC) for 10 to 20 seconds.
Take out the tray, and adjust the size and the angle with your hands according to the oral and dental status of the patient.
When the patient has some deformed teeth, the size of individual portions shall be adjusted especially.
Put the adjustable tray into the mouth of the patient and confirm whether he/she is comfortable with it or not.
If the patient is not comfortable, please repeat step 2 & 3 and adjust it accordingly till the patient feel the tray is comfortable in his/her mouth.
Inject impression materials or silicon rubber into the final adjustable tray, put the tray into the mouth of the patient, and then get the impression.
