Question: What are the size specifications for these trays ?
Answer:
The size specifications for the ET Dental Plastic Impression Trays are as follows:
U1/L2: Large size upper and lower trays
U3/L4: Medium size upper and lower trays
U5/L6: Small size upper and lower trays
U7/L8: Sectional impression trays

Question: Why are perforated trays used in alginate impression?
Answer:
Distortion and lifting of the impression material is a common issue when removing alginate impressions/trays from a patient's mouth. To minimize both, trays used for alginate impressions should be rigid and have multiple and good-sized perforations to help “lock-in” the material.

Question: Why must impression trays be rigid?
Answer:
To carry the impression material into the oral cavity, to hold the material close to the teeth, to avoid breaking during removal, and to prevent warping the completed impression.

Question: Is this ET Dental Impression trays autoclavable ?
Answer:
Yes, these impression trays are autoclavable upto 121°C.
