Durr Dental MD 555 Cleaner is a specialized, non-foaming organic acid cleaning concentrate engineered for the intensive descaling and maintenance of dental suction units, spittoons, and amalgam separators. It easily dissolves stubborn calcium deposits, prophy powder residues (sodium bicarbonate/glycine), and hard-water scale that accumulate in internal suction lines.

Regular weekly application of MD 555 prevents flow bottlenecks, restores suction efficiency, and protects vacuum pump components from mechanical strain and premature failure.

Direction to use

  • Prepare a 5% solution (50ml MD 555 in 1 Liter of warm water) inside the suction care container.
  • Aspirate the solution through all high and low volume suction hoses.
  • Also pour 250ml into the spittoon bowl.
  • Allow to act for 1–2 hours (e.g. during lunch break), then flush thoroughly with 1 Liter of fresh water.
