DualForce Active-Wedges actively engage the matrix band and adjacent tooth. Active-Wedges are designed to easily glide into position with a collapsing tip that re-opens once fully placed. The ideal Active-Wedge contour and strong internal spine places significant force on the matrix band to seal margins to eliminate overhangs and reduce composite flash – translating to less finishing time.

Question : Kindly post about the indication for each sizes in terms of gingival embrasure size.
Answer: The DualForce Active-Wedges come in five different sizes, each designed to address specific gingival embrasure sizes. Size 1 is ideal for Type 1 gingival embrasures, providing a precise fit for narrower spaces. As the sizes progress, with Size 2, 3, 4, and 5, the wedge diameters increase, making them well-suited for Type 2 and Type 3 gingival embrasures. The larger Size 4 and Size 5 wedges are particularly effective for broader embrasures that require more extensive separation. The choice of which size to use depends on the clinical assessment of the specific case and the desired level of separation for optimal dental procedures.
