DPI EDTA Gel 17% EDTA Gel with Carbamide Peroxide is a lubricating chelating paste designed for chemical-mechanical preparation of root canals. It facilitates smooth penetration of endodontic instruments by lubricating the canal and chelating calcium salts, making it easier to negotiate calcified canals.
The carbamide peroxide component produces an effervescence effect that aids in the removal of pulp tissue remnants, debris, and dentinal flakes, improving canal cleanliness. This gel enhances the performance of both manual and rotary files while reducing instrument stress and fracture risk. Additionally, it is compatible with apex locators, allowing reliable measurements during treatment. Ideal for cleaning and enlarging calcified root canals, it optimizes endodontic procedures efficiently and safely.
