Dr. Steve Niti K-Files (21mm and 25mm) are premium stainless steel hand endodontic files designed for root canal preparation using a filing (push-pull) motion. Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, they offer exceptional elasticity and tensile strength, enabling precise and safe canal shaping even in curved canals.

Each file features a non-cutting pilot tip to prevent transportation and ledge formation, along with radio-opaque markings on the shank for easy length verification under X-ray. Passivated and ultrasonic-cleaned for superior hygiene, these files are fully autoclavable at 135°C and usable with both right- and left-hand motion.

Available in ISO standard sizes 06 through 40 in working length.

Direction to use

Determine Working Length: Establish the working length using an apex locator and confirm with a periapical radiograph.
Select Starting Size: Begin with the smallest appropriate size (typically Size 10 or 15) depending on initial canal diameter.
Insert with Filing Motion: Insert the file to working length and use a push-pull filing motion against the canal walls to progressively shape the canal.
Irrigate Between Files: Flush with irrigant (e.g., NaOCl) between each file change to remove dentinal debris and disinfect the canal.
Step-Up Sequentially: Progress through increasing sizes (e.g., 15 → 20 → 25 → 30) until the desired master apical file size is achieved.
Sterilise After Use: Autoclave used files at 135 degrees C before reuse, or dispose of single-use files per clinic protocol.
