Direction to use

Preparation: Ensure the surgical site or extraction socket is cleared of large bone fragments and irrigated.
Application: Place a sterile Dengofoam cube (10 x 10 x 10mm) directly into the cavity or bleeding site. It can be applied dry or saturated with sterile saline solution.
Securing: Apply gentle pressure for a few moments to allow the sponge to absorb blood and adapt to the cavity. If necessary, a suture can be placed over the extraction socket to hold the sponge in place.
Healing: Leave the sponge in situ. It will be completely absorbed by the body within 4 to 6 weeks.
Precautions: Do not use in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to gelatin. Maintain aseptic technique during handling and application.
