Cotisen Wooden Wedges are top-quality, splinter-free wedges that are softer with better compression than plastic wedges allowing excellent interproximal adaptation. Wooden wedges stay in place and adapt better to tooth irregularities. Assorted color-coded sizes are also available. Wedges color coding agent won't discolor the tooth or restorative upon removal. Prevents dislodgement or movement of the matrix band during composite placement and packing.

These wedges are strong, anatomically contoured & avoid laceration of gingival tissue. Their main use is for adapting a matrix band to the proximal part of a cavity.

Burnish the matrix band.
Place the matrix band into the retainer.
Fit the matrix onto the tooth.
Place the wedge.
Tighten the matrix band around the tooth.
