For taking the impression in a dentulous patient use these tray by

• Mix the impression material and load is carefully in the impression tray
• Place the impression tray at the centre in the mouth.
• Wait till it set & take it out of the mouth

Question : Are these trays useful for taking implant impression?
Answer: While Cotisen Autoclavable Impression Trays can be used for taking implant impressions, there are specifically designed impression trays for implants that are more suitable for this purpose. For implant impressions, it is recommended to use trays like EiTi Implant Impression Trays (Pack of 10) or DentalPlant Stainless Steel Implant Impression Trays, which are specifically designed for taking open tray impressions in implant cases. These trays are tailored to ensure accurate and precise impressions for implant restorations, offering better compatibility and functionality in implant dentistry procedures.

Question : Why are perforated trays used for alginate impressions?
Answer: Distortion and lifting of the impression material is a common issue when removing alginate impressions/trays from a patient's mouth. To minimize both, trays used for alginate impressions should be rigid and have multiple and good-sized perforations to help “lock-in” the material.

Question : Why must impression trays be rigid?Answer: To carry the impression material into the oral cavity, to hold the material close to the teeth, to avoid breaking during removal, and to prevent warping the completed impression.

Question : Is this Cotisen Impression trays autoclavable?
Answer: Yes, these impression trays are autoclavable upto 121°C.
