Cerkamed Chloraxid 5.25% is an endodontic sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) irrigation solution used for chemomechanical debridement and disinfection of root canal systems. It rapidly dissolves necrotic pulp tissue, eliminates bacterial biofilms (including Enterococcus faecalis), and bleaches tooth structure discolored by trauma or necrotic debris.

Packaging

1 x Bottle of Chloraxid 5.25% with Dispensing Adapter

Direction to use

Connect an endodontic irrigation syringe to the bottle adapter and aspirate the required volume.
Insert a side-vented irrigation needle into the canal 2-3mm short of working length.
Gently irrigate the canal with Chloraxid 5.25% while continuously aspirating.
Alternate with EDTA / Citric Acid for complete smear layer removal and rinse with saline before obturation.
