API Saliva Ejector is a narrow tubular device providing suction to draw saliva, blood, and debris from the mouth of a dental patient in order to maintain a clear operative field.

1. Select the appropriate size: Choose the correct length and tip type based on the patient’s mouth size and the specific procedure being performed.
2. Attach to suction system: Connect the saliva ejector’s tubing securely to the dental vacuum system or suction unit, ensuring a tight fit to prevent leaks.

Answer: The API Saliva Ejector is not designed to be sterilized using an autoclave. Autoclaving could damage or deform the plastic material of the saliva ejector.
