This instrument is very useful when tucking or pushing elastics.
The dual straight and curved ends allow for ease of intraoral placement and use.
The ligature tucker is usually a double ended or single ended instrument.
Notch in working end allows operator to apply pressure to archwire to bend it into bracket slot.
It is used to tuck the cut ends of the ligature wires so that they do not hurt soft tissues.
