- A minimal quantity of Cal Excel is adequate to cover the cavity base.
- Spread the paste thinly and uniformly over the cavity base; it will dry within seconds.
- Any excess paste can be gently wiped onto the sidewalls of the cavity without causing harm.
- Once dried, proceed with applying cement or other filling materials directly over the Cal Excel layer.

- Apply several thin layers of Cal Excel alternately in deep cavities.
