• Place the autoclave on at the suitable place on the black steel stand and the sterilizing material on the table or on the shelf.
• Fill distilled or de-ionized water in the base chamber upto the level of tripod stand kept inside the base chamber.
• Place the dressing drum loaded with sterilizing material int he autoclave and close the lid by pressing the lid down turning it clockwise until it turns anymore.
• Close/tightened the both Steam release knob.
• Connect the electric cord with the element socket. Plug to the mains (220/240V, 50Hz) and switch on the power.
• Now rotate the timer knob to the desired time (40-50min.) required for sterilization. As the timer knob is rotated the heating starts.
• After few minutes steam will start generating and pressure will starting rising on the pressure gauge.
• At 15±1 psi pressure the excess steam will come out strongly from the stopcock to maintain this pressure throughout the cycle.
• The unit will automatically turn off when the prespecified time has been reached.
• Now to depressurize the unit , slowly loosen the the steam release knob and let the entire steam escape.
• Wait for some time & make sure that there is no steam left in the autoclave and pressure gauge reading is 0 psi.
• Now open the autoclave lid and preserve the sterilized material for intended use.
• clean and dry the autoclave after it's use.
• Periodic cleaning and maintenance of the autoclave is very important.
