Preparation:

• Ensure the condenser is clean and sterilized before use

Material Placement:

• After mixing your restorative material (amalgam, composite, etc.), place it in the cavity preparation

Initial Condensation:

• Use the rounded tip of the condenser to gently compact the material into the cavity

Even Distribution:

• Apply even pressure to ensure the material fills all areas, including margins and corners

Layering:

• If using a layered technique, repeat the process with additional material, condensing each layer

Final Compacting:

• After the final layer is placed, use the condenser to ensure optimal density and smoothness

Check:

• Assess the restoration for proper contour and adaptation before curing or finishing

Cleaning:

• After use, clean and sterilize the condenser according to standard protocols.
