Tenax Fiber Trans is an excellent alternative to metal posts if highly esthetic, metal-free restorations are desired.
Fiber posts with high strength, high bending strength, and resistance to shearing force have an elastic modulus similar to that of dentin. It can absorb bite force and external forces to avoid root features. 4% taper in the bottom third. It is translucent hence light can pass through it while using a light cure.

Direction to use

  • Prepare the post space using specific drills
  • Trial fit the Fiber posts and determine the desired length.
  • After etching and rinsing the canal and super-structure, place the adhesive on the tooth.
  • Place the dual cure resin cement and core build-up material.
  • Final preparations. Note that the posts has to be placed over the centric cusps.
